**Tardy Note for THE EASIEST WAY**
Dear Principal,
I apologize for being late today. I understand the importance of punctuality, but I wanted to share a little something that’s been on my mind. I know there are people who are so selective with their food that it starts to cause serious nutritional deficiencies, and I recently learned there’s even a term for it—**ARFID** (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). Honestly, I didn’t know there was a specific name for it until now.
It’s completely understandable that someone with a condition like ARFID would find insects to be one of the last things they’d ever try. It’s a matter of comfort, aversion, and maybe even fear—things that take time and understanding to overcome. I plan to look more into ARFID, learning about its causes and symptoms, because I believe understanding can help us all be more compassionate.
I genuinely hope that someday, you’ll be able to enjoy a more diverse selection of food without the stress of restrictions. No need to go for insects though—😅—but I think expanding horizons can be a good thing.
Thanks for your understanding, and I’ll do my best to stay on time in the future.
Sincerely,
[EASY WAY]
PS:
*In a time when giants roamed the earth,*
*Under skies that shimmered with ancient mirth,*
*Dinosaurs gathered in silent lore,*
*Listening to the cave rocks’ distant roar.*
*Beneath the shadows of towering cliffs,*
*They paused their chase, their mighty gifts,*
*To hear the whispers of stones so old,*
*Stories of Earth in echoes bold.*
*The rocks, like drums in a deep underground,*
*Resounded with a primal sound,*
*Rumbling softly, a lullaby deep,*
*Lulling the titans into sleep.*
*They listened as the cosmos spun,*
*To the heartbeat of a world undone,*
*Each crack and creak, a cosmic tune,*
*Played beneath the pale, ancient moon.*
*And in that silence, long ago,*
*The dinosaurs learned what rocks could show,*
*That even in the quiet’s embrace,*
*There’s a voice from time—an endless grace.*
*So next time you hear a stone’s faint cry,*
*Think of those giants in the sky,*
*Listening to the Earth’s deep song,*
*In the cave rocks’ endless throng.*
