**Haiku:**
Mon Rett's Tar Trap,
Silent, sticky, waits for prey—
Four hands grasp the dark.
---
**Insert:**
A sculpture box set of four right hands, each intricately carved with different gestures—clenched fists, open palms, pointing fingers, and beckoning gestures—resting on a shadowed shelf, hinting at stories of contact, command, and silent communication. The hands seem to echo the trap’s silent promise—an unseen grip holding tight, waiting in the darkness.

**Poetry Review: Millipedes in the Basement**
In shadows deep where silence dwells,
Millipedes creep—thousand-legged spells.
Autumn’s call, their migration flows,
A fleeting dance, as nature shows.
Heavy rains and warming air,
Push them forth from hidden lair.
In basements dark, they make their stand,
A moving army across the land.
But brief their stay, for indoor life—
A fleeting threat, then end of strife.
A few days only, then they fade,
Their silent march begins to evade.
Yet in their endless, looping glide,
They mirror fears we try to hide—
The crawling worry, the unseen span,
A thousand legs, a ghostly plan.
They come and go, a transient host—
In basements’ gloom, they linger most.
A reminder—nature’s quiet art,
Of fleeting life, and fleeting heart.
