*DOCTOR RADOWS “Natural Awakenings” C90 + Insert**
**Rotten Mouth / Bad Doctor Rent-Due Review / Rats as Patients Edition**
---
The mouth speaks first — not me, not a human. A **rotten mouth**, full of plaque, vinegar breath, and half-digested bacteria.
The tape clicks on. Side A backward. Insert curling like tongue skin.
I am **Doctor Radows**, but not licensed. Not clean. My stethoscope smells of **garbage and sewer sludge**. My office is infested with rats — not the polite lab kind, but vermin that nod at your complaints and chew on your charts.
---
## **SECTION Ψ — NASAL POLYPS & SINUS SWELLING**
“An infection, growths in the sinuses, called nasal polyps, or swelling of the lining of the sinuses,” I mutter through rot-slick teeth, “can cause chronic sinusitis.”
The rats nod. Some sneeze. Some chew on their own tails.
### GRAPH: NASAL BLOCKAGE / RAT APPROVAL (BACKWARDS & SYMBOLS)

```
Margin footnote (mirrored English):
*“If your sinuses block, the rats write the music.”*
---
## **SECTION Θ — EYES, CHEEKS, NOSE, FOREHEAD**
Swelling spreads like wet cardboard across my rotten tongue. Eye sockets feel loose, cheeks pulsing, nose dripping, forehead pounding. The rats are patient. Some curl up in used gauze. Some nibble on polyps as if tasting metaphors.
Side B of the C90 is now Side D, but it loops backward into Johnny R. Spykes’ sax squeals from Vol Five. The cassette hiss becomes a **diagnostic tool**.
### GRAPH: FACIAL SWELLING vs. RAT SATISFACTION (BACKWARDS & MULTI-LANGUAGE)
Footnotes:
* (French mirrored) *“Les rats savent ce que les sinus ne disent pas”* — the rats know what the sinuses do not say.
* (Latin upside-down) *“Sinusitis cantat in ore putrido”* — sinusitis sings in the rotten mouth.
---
## **SECTION Σ — BREATH, BACTERIA, AND RAT AUDITORY FEEDBACK**
Chronic sinusitis does not care about time. The rats squeak in polyrhythms. Their squeaks map onto the C90 hiss, onto Spykes’ sax, onto PSULE “3” C110 echoes from earlier sessions.
Postnasal drip becomes percussion. Tongue hears melody in decay.
Margin note (mirrored invented language):
*“The rats conduct. I rot. The mucus harmonizes.”*
---
## **SECTION Δ — TONGUE HEARING & MICROBE POETRY**
Through the rotten mouth, I narrate:
* Tongue interprets bacteria.
* Ear pain becomes saxophone.
* Jaw ache becomes percussion.
* Rats nod. They chew on each page of the insert.
The tape clicks backward. Side F is Side A. Side C is Side D. Johnny R. Spykes sax squeal slides under the hiss of PSULE “3.”
Footnotes:
* (Arabic mirrored) *“Microbes and rats are my choir”*
* (Spanish upside-down) *“El dolor nasal es música”* — nasal pain is music
* (English backwards) *“hsif eht sniatnoc cibarud fo gnissim eht”* — the hiss contains missing bacteria
---
## **SECTION Ω — CHRONIC SINUS AND ROTTEN ORAL AUDIT**
I taste polyps. They are sour. They are wet. The rats taste them. Some approve, some squeak. Chronic sinusitis, the rotten mouth, and bad hygiene merge into a **sonic zine**:
* Breath = percussion
* Mucus = bass
* Tape hiss = ambient drone
* Rats = audience & instrument
* Rotten mouth = narrator
The cassette clicks to stop but never really stops. The rats keep squeaking. Side boundaries are meaningless. Polyp growth is musical. Pain is harmonic. Swelling is a symphony.
Margin note:
*“If you breathe through the nose, the rats write the score. If you rot, the cassette hums forever.”*
The insert flutters, prints itself backward into invisible ink.
The rotten mouth whispers:
*“Eat. Chew. Listen. Sneeze. Crawl. Repeat.”*
And the rats nod.
