**I AM TAKING MY STARS BACK ONE BY ONE.**
The planet asked me to.
The sculpture started sweating when I reached for the fifth star.
---
**Objects included:**
– a stone that hums when no one is listening
– a booklet that grooms itself
– something labeled *“insert”* that inserts **you** instead
– two c60s that rewind even while playing
– two cds that feel arthritic in cold rooms
ARMER calls this **“Perature Sider 1”** but the planet insists it is a *condition*, not a title.
---
**I noticed flakes.**
At first I thought it was cosmic dust.
Then I realized the dust was **me**, shedding opinions.
Dogs like to keep themselves clean, the guide whispers in reverse audio.
So does this planet.
So if dandruff appears, something is wrong with gravity or the joints.
---
**General information (un-generalized):**
Skin cells here are continuously dying, shedding off, and walking away on tiny legs.
New ones grow in upside down.
Grooming is a ritual performed by moons.
A small amount of dandruff is normal.
A large amount forms weather systems.
---
**The inserts explain (but only if folded incorrectly):**
If your dog has dandruff, contact your vet for a **non-urgent appointment**.
If your planet has dandruff, contact no one.
It is grooming itself badly.
---
**Possible causes (played backward at 3¾ speed):**
– Arthritis (the mountains crack when they bend)
– Pain or stiffness (the oceans limp)
– Being overweight (too many satellites, not enough forgiveness)
The planet cannot groom its own equator anymore.
This is why flakes appear on the poles.
---
**Google Maps pin keeps drifting.**
Every time I try to leave a helpful sentence, it sheds off and becomes debris.
> “Most causes aren’t serious and improve with treatment”
> plays backward as
> “Treatment improves seriousness; causes remain.”
---
**The sculpture component:**
A hunched figure trying to lick its own back.
Impossible geometry.
Very honest.
---
**Second cassette (rewound):**
I arrive.
I read the review.
I decide not to come.
I am already here.
---
**Final note before the stars fully disappear:**
If you notice dandruff, dryness, flakes—
it may simply mean the planet can’t groom itself properly anymore.
Or it may mean
you stayed too long,
scrolling upward,
removing stars,
until the review became the cause.
